Grand Blood Donation Camp Successfully organized at Mantralaya, Mumbai by Surajya Nirman Pratishthan Foundation

Mumbai, March 18, 2026:

Upholding social responsibility and prioritizing service to humanity, Surajya Nirman Pratishthan Foundation successfully organized a grand blood donation camp at Mantralaya, Mumbai on March 18, 2026. The initiative was conducted in collaboration with the Sir J. J. Mahanagar Blood Centre managed by the State Blood Transfusion Council (SBTC).

The camp was organized with the noble objective of addressing the constant shortage of blood, ensuring timely availability for patients, and preventing the loss of lives due to unavailability of blood. The initiative received an overwhelming response from citizens, youth, social workers, government officials, political leaders, police personnel, and other dignitaries.

Through this initiative, a total of 174 units of blood were successfully collected, including Cryo, Platelets, and Plasma. Significant contribution for this successful blood collection was made by Ms. Neeta Dange on behalf of the Sir J. J. Mahanagar Blood Centre managed by the State Blood Transfusion Council (SBTC).

The entire blood donation process was carried out safely and systematically under the supervision of experienced doctors and trained medical staff. Donors were thoroughly screened and provided with proper guidance.

On this occasion, Founder-President of the Foundation, Suraj Suresh Kute, stated:

“Blood donation is not just a social responsibility but the highest form of service to humanity. A small effort from us can give someone a new life. If every individual in society pledges to donate blood regularly, the shortage can be eliminated, and this will truly be a step towards building ‘Surajya’.”

The event was graced by the presence of Suraj Kute, Bhupesh Sawant, Sanket Bobde, along with Dr. Christine Swaminathan (President, HWARF), Dr. Smita Gaikwad, Dr. Babina Shaikh, Raizen Swaminathan, Jayesh Oswal, Mohan Vaidande, Vinod Vaidande, Santosh Bhoite, Adv. Vandana Jadhav, and other dignitaries.

Officials from Mantralaya also actively participated by donating blood, delivering a strong and inspiring message of humanitarian service.

Surajya Nirman Pratishthan Foundation continues to work towards health, education, and public welfare initiatives for various sections of society, striving to achieve the vision of “Surajya.” Through this blood donation camp, the organization stated that the spirit of service, unity, and social responsibility has been further strengthened in society.
